Customer Service Army Introduces The Customer Service Calendar
Customer Service Army created the Customer Service Calendar because customer service needs to be a 24/7/365 commitment by businesses everywhere. We have created a theme for each month to create an awareness about customer service and the need to improve it.
• January - Customer Resolutions
• February - Customer Relationship Building
• March - Customer Conflict Resolution
• April - The Internal Customer
• May - Customer Attrition (Customer Service Casualties)
• June - Customer Retention (Medal Winning Customer Service)
• July- Customer Independence
• August - Customer Service Awareness
• September - Customer Education
• October - Customer Rewards
• November - Added Customer Relationship Value
• December - The Gift of Customer Service
For the month of January and the rest of the year, we asked all soldiers in the Customer Service Army and civilian customers everywhere to think about what they can do differently in 2007 for their customer relationships with businesses. We encourage customers to start noticing customer service on a regular basis with all their unique interactions. Just think about how many times you communicate with businesses every day or week - in person, over the phone, or online.
Focus on bad customer service, or “customer service casualties” and recognize what makes it bad. For example, it could be poor management or poorly trained employees. Detect great customer service, or “customer service medal winners.” Although sometimes hard to find, determine what makes great customer service. For example, it could be excellent management or employees who receive bonuses based on customer satisfaction.

It Takes An Army To Improve Customer Service!
Customer Service Army (CSA), a Dallas, TX based consumer generated content website that focuses on improving customer service, officially launches its business on the busiest customer service day of the year. That is the day after Thanksgiving, or Black Friday.
Customer Service Army’s mission is to constantly improve the way customer service is practiced by sounding off about customer service – good and bad! CSA troops are in the trenches of the customer service war on a daily basis. Soldiers dedicate themselves to the cause and stand up for customers who cannot or will not. The CSA is everywhere at any given time. Businesses will never know when a recruit from the CSA might interact with their business – in person, over the phone, or online.
Businesses can also use Customer Service Army as a tool to measure their real-time satisfaction. If not already listed, businesses can add their names to the CSA website and add their own customer satisfaction questions to CSA’s standard survey. But instead of private customer surveys, CSA makes all satisfaction information publicly available to customers and businesses. Now businesses that claim to be customer focused will face the challenge of satisfying the real customer masses – not just selected test groups. The average customer has a wide-reaching voice, made available by CSA, and each customer is sounding off!
CSA gives service medals to soldiers and businesses alike. To receive a CSA medal is an honor that only a select few will attain, because CSA evaluates customer service for all business, across all industries. Soldiers who write the most quality reviews are eligible for CSA’s prestigious awards on a monthly and annual basis. Businesses that receive the best reviews by providing excellent customer service, or medal winning customer service, are also eligible for CSA’s distinguished customer service medals on a monthly and annual basis. On the other hand, businesses that receive the worst reviews will be the recipients of the customer service casualty medals on a monthly and annual basis.
