How CSA Works

Customer Service Army is a consumer generated content (CGC) website that allows customers to write reviews about their customer service experiences with any business. Once you join the CSA ranks, you can write reviews, read other soldiers' reviews and observe the overall customer satisfaction levels in any industry. Businesses can also use Customer Service Army as a tool to measure their collective customer satisfaction. If you are a business owner, all you need to do is create a category for your business and add the types of evaluations you want your customers to complete.
Ten - Hut! Ten Steps To Show You How CSA Works.

Get into the trenches of the war on customer service.
Start noticing customer service on a regular basis with all your different customer interactions.  Just think about how many times you communicate with a different business each day or week - in person, over the phone, or online.
Focus on bad customer service.
We call them "customer service casualties."  Recognize what makes bad customer service.  For example, it could be poor management, poorly trained employees, etc.
Detect great customer service.
We call them "customer service medal winners."  Although it is sometimes hard to find, determine what makes great customer service.  For example, it could be excellent management, employees who receive bonuses based on customer satisfaction, etc.
Sound off about customer service - good and bad!
Write reviews that score multiple elements of the customer service experience.  Current scoring categories include: customer service; quality of product or service; service promptness; added value; employee professionalism and knowledge; competitor comparisons; repeat customer likeliness; recommend to a friend likeliness; and overall customer experience.
Make your unique contribution to what medal winning customer service should be.
All soldiers can add optional category evaluations for any review in any industry.  For example, you could add "seating wait time" as an optional category evaluation in the restaurant and dining section.  Then, you can specify the choices other soldiers can select from, which could include different minute intervals.
Evaluate the helpfulness of other CSA soldiers' reviews.
Salute reviews that are helpful.  Don't salute reviews that are not helpful.
Encourage others who want to improve customer service to join the CSA.
Inspire your network of colleagues, friends and family to join the CSA ranks.
Use CSA as a resource the next time you're looking for medal winning service.
Check CSA soldier reviews in real time in any industry when you're trying a new restaurant, visiting a new retail store, etc.
Help influence customer service with your contributions and notice how service improves around you.
Let your voice be heard and be part of the customer service evolution!
